Access: Take the cable car from Lana to the Vigiljoch in just a few minutes. Alternatively, you can drive to Pawigl and then hike from there.

Route: Easy to moderate hikes through forests and alpine meadows, ideal for families. Highlights: St. Vigilius Church, Bärenbadalm, and Schwarze Lacke.
Access: For example, take the Texelbahn from Partschins, the Hochmuth cable car from Dorf Tirol, or the Unterstell cable car in Naturns.

Route: One of the most beautiful circular hiking trails in the Alps around the Texel Group. Highlights: Spronser Lakes, Matatzspitze, and spectacular views down into the Passeier valley.
Access: Start in Lana, where a beautiful path leads you over gentle hills and orchards all the way up to St. Hippolyt in Naraun. Alternatively, you can choose the route starting from Tisens or Völlan.

Route: An easy to moderate hike with fantastic views over the entire Etschtal valley. The trail takes you through chestnut groves, mixed forests, and blooming meadows, leading to the St. Hippolyt Church.
Access: By car or bus to the Ulten valley, with starting points depending on the route (e.g., Kuppelwies, St. Gertraud).

Route: Diverse hikes through rustic alpine pastures, dense forests, and mountain peaks. Highlights: Ultner Höfeweg, Dreiländer-Spitz, and Zufrittsee.
Access: Drive to the Schnals Valley and then take the Glacier Cable Car to the Grawand mountain station at 3,212 m.

You’ll pedal through postcard-perfect orchards, sun-kissed vineyards and cool, shady forests, all while soaking up South Tyrol’s stunning scenery. And thanks to the mild climate, biking is pretty much a year-round affair.

Hop on the Vinschgau railway from Merano to Malles, then cruise back down by bike along the ancient Roman road – gently downhill all the way, past castles, apple orchards and charming little villages. A scenic, easy-going ride that’s ideal for families and lovers of the slow life on two wheels!
This cycling route takes you through the entire Adige Valley – from Merano, Lana, and Bolzano, and if you wish, all the way to Lake Garda.
Ideal for relaxed bike tours with gentle inclines and plenty of places to stop for a break along the way.
Lana’s local mountain, “Vigiljoch,” is a popular mountain biking destination.
From Lana, you can take the cable car up to the Vigiljoch and enjoy a relaxed ride. At the top, you’ll find stunning trails and challenging descents through forests and alpine meadows, all with spectacular views of the Dolomites.
There are also leisurely panoramic loops for those who prefer a more relaxed cycling experience.

This cycling route, between Caldaro, Termeno, and Appiano, takes you through one of the most beautiful wine regions in Italy. A leisurely ride with stunning views and plenty of opportunities for a relaxing wine break.
The Stelvio Pass cycling route is one of the most spectacular and challenging bike trails in South Tyrol.
It stretches over approximately 24 km, from Prad near the Stelvio Pass to the summit at 2,757 meters, where you are rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
